The Blue Wave Pavilion is a four piece post-punk / new wave band from Leeds. The band is James Jennion (vocals, rhythm guitar), Alec Wilson (lead guitar, synth, backing vocals), Matt Jennion (bass, backing vocals) and David Moorfield (drums).
Starting live performances in June 2017, the band played their second show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club opening for All We Are. Subsequent shows include a headline slot at Manchester’s Night & Day Café and a successful show opening for Himalayas at the Lending Room in Leeds with This Feeling. The band is now gearing up for the release of its debut double A-side single 'Song Of Cedric' / 'Food For Yourself'. Recorded over the summer, the single was mixed by Mark Winterburn at Edge Studios and mastered by Ben Booker. The single will be released digitally on the 29th November 2017 with a launch party at the Lending Room (with support from Dharma Wild and Unstable Journey).
